Breakfast- Stromboli

Serves: 4-8 servings
  • loaf of Riches frozen bread
  • Non-stick cooking spray and saran wrap
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • ½ pound of ham shaved
  • 1 C cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 C mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 6-8 oz fresh mushrooms sliced and lightly sautéed
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced and sautéed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced and sautéed
  1. The night before, spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Take the bread out of the freezer and place on cookie sheet.
  3. Spray the bread all over and cover with plastic film.
  4. Put in a warm place and bread will thaw and rise by morning.
  5. In the morning, uncover, dust with flour and flatten dough with a rolling pin, spreading to cover the pan.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella down the middle third of dough.
  7. Layer meat, cheddar cheese, bacon, sautéed veggies and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Make ten slits in the dough on either side of the filling and pull up the sides of the dough and over lap making a lattice on top.
  9. Brush with egg or butter (optional- sprinkle chives on top) and bake at 350 until brown roughly 30 minutes.
