A Festival For Everyone
 | Fly Fishing Demo @ TroutFest, Townsend, TN May 18-20, 2012 |
Don't
you just hate the expression, "Spring Splendor"? Okay, so maybe
"Spring Splendiferous" would be a better choice because that IS what it
IS. The weather is unbelievable, and everything is blooming, so
take a gander at our calendar of events for the many festivals coming up in the next three months, including one of the best attended, TroutFest.
What this photo doesn't show are the huge tents set up at the Townsend
Visitor Center where the event is held. If your spouse loves
fishing, I can't think of a nicer mini vacation than a few days in the
mountains attending this festival. Vendors, demos, food, classes-
it has it all, just like our Smoky Mountain Inn does with

Playful Pancakes, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner!
 | Pumpkin Pancakes w/Caramelized Pecans, Whipped Cream, and Ginger Syrup |
I
can eat pancakes any time of year, but there is something about
scarfing carbs when it is cold out that makes me feel less guilty.
I don't serve pancakes very often to guests, but if I do, the two
recipes I use the most often are our award winning Lemon Goat Cheese Blueberry Pancakes, and Pumpkin Pancakes
with Caramelized Pecans, Whipped Cream, and Ginger Syrup. I'm not a
huge pumpkin fan, but these are REALLY good. I am working on other
pancake recipes including, Corn Cakes, Potato Pancakes, Zucchini
Pancakes, etc., but click here for the best Mouthwatering, Tender, Plain Pancakes I have ever had/made. The secret ingredient is potato starch. They just melt in your mouth. For all our website recipes click here!
