Before you plan an entire trip around an event scheduled for the dates you are interested in, please contact the event coordinators, by phone or email, to verify that it has not been cancelled, rescheduled, or relocated. Obviously once you make a reservation here, you are responsible for it. The software that runs this calendar will show the starting date of the event. Click on the event to see if it runs for multiple days. If the time posted says all day, it may be all day, or a specific time that was not yet scheduled, example: a concert, when I entered it here. Again, click on the event and it will give you more information and a number to call for specific times.
In addition to the events I have listed below, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, co-sponsor the Smoky Mountain Field School, which are workshops, hikes and "adventures"! Rather than re-typing their extensive listing of classes go to www.outreach.utk.edu/smoky or call 865-974-0150 for more information. Many of these are on Saturdays and run all day.
